

Leading retailers rely on GK Software. Having established itself among the global players, Germany’s “hidden champion” is confidently repositioning itself with a new name and corporate design.
Positioning. Goodbye IT and ERP, hello cloud. GK integrated cloud computing, AI, and machine learning into its system solutions very early on and distributed them via its own full-service platform as well as partners’ cloud computing platforms. To achieve future business goals, the company therefore needed to position itself as more agile and dynamic. The goal: easier access to new markets and more qualified recruitment
Naming. It’s GK! Among the new customers in the USA, ‘GK’ has become a short form of the name ‘GK Software’. Idea: The trademark, wordings, sub-brands and trademark protection are further developed around the much less formal-sounding initials. Result: New name + new identity = new self-perception
Implementation. Once a year, employees from various locations gather. On this occasion, the new brand name, new logo, and updated corporate design were unveiled. In collaboration with the marketing team as well as in-house and freelance designers, the website was relaunched as the central platform and has since been gradually developed into a platform for brand management.
